I wonder why it is that a lot of people use the phrase “life is too short” when I have found the opposite, or at least a middle-ground, to be more accurate. Life feels anything but short, even though there have been periods in the past where it feels that time passed me by incredibly quickly. But, in general, life has neither felt short nor long. The only time life feels short is when I am reflecting on the past, and thinking to myself “wow that passed me by quickly,” but it is usually followed by “that felt like an entire lifetime ago.”
I sometimes get the feeling that I have done all that I have wanted to do, and the rest going forwards is just extra, like a DLC that was randomly added to my menu. Anyways, the phrase baffles me, so I just wanted to see how others interpret it, and what they actually mean when using it. That’s about it, see ya.
