Until recently, I never really noticed how many old people are working in customer service/retail. Working retail basically means standing all day, and it’s already tiring enough for me, despite only being in my 20s, so I cannot imagine how they must feel. Plus, it doesn’t help that some customers will give you an attitude/hard time regardless of how nice you are to them. I don’t know how I didn’t notice this any sooner, but just figured I would share it, and hear the thoughts of others.
